RE: [Honda-C70] After market carb

Harbor Freight tools has 2 ultrasonic cleaners $35 & $75 both use powder cleaner . I can`t imagine powder would be best choice to clean the inside of an idle jet though. I will stick with the brass wire from a BBQ grill brush . It`s brass like the jet ,small enough to go through the hole & long enough to come out the other side unlike the brass golf club brush that the bristles were too short. Baby Huey`s 2 cents

Clogged slow jets can be cleaned using an electrosonic parts cleaner used for jewelry and such. They're available at ebay from time to time. Pour in the carb cleaner of your choosing (I use Gunk), turn it on and let the vibrations/cleaner do their thing. It's not cheap, but it's effective. I have 23 motorcycles, so I can justify the cost. Fuel quality these days, partly because of Ethanol, is not what it used to be.
