I did it today on my 1973 CL70. I compared the C70 wiring diagram to the CL70 and most all of it is the same. After buttoning it all up everthing appears to be working fine except they don't flash because I don't have a 6 volt LED flasher yet but I did order one from here:

I expect it will work once I figure out how to get to the original flasher. It appears to be hidden in back of the battery compartment.
I did go one extra step and replaced the speedometer back light with the same style LED's as the green/red/amber indicator. That was a little disappointing but it does work. Just dimmer than I would like. I might try another style the next time I have a reason to order from them again. I can always go back to the incandescent if it really bothers me but for now I am happy to get the decrease in current use.
