RE: [Honda-C70] Re: Head removal

Rich : If you are only removing the head & don`t need to turn the bottom end. when you get the cam gear unbolted keep the chain tight ,lift the head enough to run a stiff wire [coat hanger] through the chain,in one side out the other, just above the cylinder. This will keep the chain from sliding down & possibly getting on the wrong tooth on the crank & throwing off you cam timeing when you reassemble. It has worked for me twice. Good Luck! Baby Huey
