[Honda-C70] Wiring question

 

Can someone tell me what this means:

In the image, bottom left (first link below), see the R/W (Red/White)... what does the short line with R/W with arrow indicate?

In the full diagram (2nd link below) The R/W comes off battery to rectifier. No other R/W on diagram.

On my CL70 I have two R/W wires in the battery box area that were twisted together. One goes to rectifier and the other is in the large harness that goes up to the neck area. If they twist together one can not go to the battery. If not twisted together the one from rectifier can go to battery but then what happens to the other? Any help is greatly appreciated.
