Jon, I used Armorall for years and years never seen it crack rubber. The reason I stopped using it on rubber was the formula I was told had sugar in it which with age would turn brown. I think the Armorall acted like a magnified glass and only revealed the age of your tires, how old are your tires. Jay R.

Can I use Armor All® Protectant Products on my tires; including whitewall, motorcycle and bicycle?
Armor All® Protectant Products are ideal for protecting, shining and cleaning your car tires. Just spray onto surface, let penetrate and wipe off for a great shine and long-lasting protection. However, these products should not be used on cycle tires due to slipperiness.
> So I did something really dumb last night... I was cleaning and decided to armor all the plastics of my C70.

> Unfortunately, I also made the dumb mistake of putting armor all on the side walls of my tires. Only later did I read that it was a dumb thing to do and that AA will cause the tires to harden and crack. Go ahead and say I'm a retard, cause I sure feel like one now.

> So now that I've done that, I think it's time for new tires. Or is there a way to get the armor all out of the side walls?
