Hey Baby Huey,

Thanks for the reply! I had went to a parts site found on here and got a better look at the L cover seal, it is the cam gear cover as I thought. The seal is only 3-4 $ plus shipping unless someone on here has one handy. There are three model #'s for the seal, I'll check the parts list to be sure. I cant locate the troubleshooting guides by model as you say, if you can provide a link that would be great.
Thanks again, Jeremy

That sounds like what you are talking about an oil leak. The head can be removed with out removing the cylinder or piston IF it comes to that. Are you using the troubleshooting guides at the bottom of the page for your year bike ? Also you might try going to a site like BikeBandit .com & using there parts schematics to get as better understanding of what is where & how it may fit & what it is called as well as order a part or gasket if it is listed as available. Good Luck ! Baby Huey

Have traced it to a small missing portion of seal on the left cylinder head, its with a cover that has no bolts to it, think its the cam cover.
